Youth Mental Health Services
The Youth Mental Health Services was developed to address the needs of the youth in Deer Lake Frist Nation. The issues are similar to those effect adults with mental health issues such as anger, depression, and other assorted issues on per day capitia. These issues and lack of community resources was identified in the planning of health priorities in 1997, and the development of this program was developed to enhance the existing mental health program. It has produced very good results in the community.

The program increase social and recreational activities for the youth of our community. Program activities continues to evolve based on the needs identified by youths.
