DLHS Board & Members

OVERVIEW

Deer Lake Health Services Board was established to oversee health services within Deer Lake. The board meets on a regular basis to review many aspects of the health operations and budget requirements. The board also works with the Chief and Council to ensure that priorities are being addressed and that funding requirement are being meet. They also assist with any lobbying which ensures that proper level of funding is being provided to ensure that needs of the community are being meet. On an annual basis they review the annual work plan and seek input from a variety of sources ( C&C, Youths, Elders, Families, Community ) using various outlets to compile a working document that meets the needs of the community.
